Another chronic problem with pocket cams is getting blur when you don't want it--which is just about any time you're indoors without the flash. Yeah, yeah, we know: "Use a tripod." But come on: for the average person… Continue

About Me
I am a professional children's photographer who specializes in black and white beach photography.

I am making the switch to digital in 2009 and just purchased a Nikon D3.

I got into photography when I was in elementary school after my older brother joined the photo club and built a darkroom in our house. When I was in my early 20's I photographed some sporting events (like the Vancouver Marathon), weddings & some fashion. At the time I was working full time as a mechanical/piping draftsman. After having 3 boys within 2 years I took time off work and when the twins were 8 I started Wright Photography. At the beginning I photographed adults as well as children, but soon after starting I changed to only photographing children (those of you who photograph adults know why).

Although I am currently a film photographer (all b&w, no colour), I plan on purchasing a D3 in January and going digital.

Sharon,
Do you know how to change my picture on the Main page? And can I change the "orange" text on "My Page"? Couldn't figure out how to do either thing.

Thanks, Sharon. Do you like the curve in that daisy? Just added a twist (with a Photoshop filter) and it changed a boring picture into a much more interesting one.
