More than thirty other volunteers, including hair and makeup chipped in to brighten the day of people in the downtown east-side of Vancouver.
A video of the Vancouver event can be found at…

Proper White Balance can add contrast, sharpness and detail to an image while proper color can make you images stand out from the rest.
Another misconception in the White Balance world is that since you shoot RAW, it’s not…

I have just returned to Hubbard’s Beach after sailing onboard the Bluenose II in Lunenburg today. What a great day and a great trip this has been. Some good shooting opportunities and some missed ones. The Puffins are not around at this time of the year, the Moose have eluded us and the trees will not be red until the first or second week in October. So we will be returning to Cape Breton next October for the Fall Colours Festival. I will be returning to Vancouver tomorrow and look forward to se…

Hi .
I thought since Baseball season is here.........the following may be of interest.........
How to Photograph Baseball
Today Pro Photographer Jim Bryant shares a comprehensive set of tips in a tutorial on how to photograph Baseball.
Baseball is a visual feast or famine game. If the pitcher is really great, there’s nothing to shoot. If both teams are better at offense than defense you’ll wind through a lot of frames rapidly.
